Service Partner Terms.

The agreement for professionals, shops, agencies, drivers, recyclers and NGOs who take jobs through Jhatpat.

Yurix Ventures Private Limited · CIN U62090UP2025PTC215977 · Version 1.0 · Effective 16 September 2026

The short version

You are an independent business that takes jobs through Jhatpat — your hours, your radius, your skills. You keep your documents valid, start every job with the customer's code, follow the scope and the checklist, never take cash except where the app says so, and get paid every Monday after the platform fee. Break the safety rules or take work off-platform and access ends.

One of the ten Jhatpat policies that form part of the Terms of Service. The same text is shown inside the app (Account → Legal & policies) and on our Google Play listing.

1. Who these Terms apply to

These Service Partner Terms ("Partner Terms") are an agreement between you — an individual professional, shop, agency, driver, recycler, NGO or other business that offers or fulfils services through Jhatpat ("Partner", "you") — and Yurix Ventures Private Limited (CIN U62090UP2025PTC215977, registered office at Plot No. 73, Vishnu Lok, Kanpur Road, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh 226023) ("Jhatpat", "we"). You accept them electronically when you apply in partner mode of the Jhatpat app, and again each time they change. The Terms of Service, Safety, Trust & Regulated Services Policy, Acceptable Use, Reviews & Community Policy, Service Partner Privacy Notice and the commercial schedule shown in the app (fees, payout cycle, penalties, rate cards) form part of these Partner Terms. Category schedules for regulated services are shown before the related skill is activated.

2. Independent business relationship

You operate as an independent contractor. You decide when to go online, your service radius and which skills to offer, and you may work for others. Nothing in these Partner Terms creates an employment, partnership, joint venture, agency or franchise relationship, and you may not represent yourself as an employee or agent of Jhatpat or make promises on its behalf. You are responsible for your own personnel, tools, materials, vehicles, insurance, taxes, statutory registrations and compliance with every law that applies to your trade. Jhatpat provides the marketplace, verification, payment collection and support described in the Terms of Service; it does not supervise how you perform a job beyond the published scope, checklist and safety standards.

3. Eligibility, onboarding and documents

You must be at least 18, hold a valid Indian mobile number, and complete verification: government ID (Aadhaar through DigiLocker or OTP, or another accepted ID) matched to a live selfie, PAN where required for payouts, a UPI ID or bank account in your name, and the documents your partner type requires — police-verification certificate, driving licence, vehicle registration, insurance and permits, shop and GST registration, PSARA licence, IRDAI registration, CPCB / SPCB authorisation, NGO registration or drug licence. Everything you submit must be accurate and current; you must upload renewals before expiry and tell us within 24 hours of any suspension, cancellation or material change. A skill goes live only after its documents are verified and its training is completed. We may re-verify at any time and may obtain verification information from authorised vendors and official sources.

4. Service standards

For every job you accept you agree to: arrive within the promised window and go online only when you can take jobs; start the job only after entering the customer's 4-digit start code at their door; perform the published scope with reasonable skill and care, following the checklist and capturing the photos and confirmations the app asks for; carry the tools, consumables and safety equipment your trade needs; obtain the customer's approval in the app before any extra time, add-on, part or work that increases the price; keep the customer's home, belongings and data safe; wear the Jhatpat ID and any uniform or hygiene kit the category requires; and leave the work area clean. Time-based jobs end at the booked duration unless extra time is approved in the app.

5. Pricing, quotes and cash

You honour the price shown in the app for every job. For repairs you inspect first and send an itemised quote (labour, parts with brand and warranty, taxes) in the app; work starts only after the customer approves it. You never collect cash except an approved repair-quote balance or a ride the customer marked as cash before you accepted; every other rupee — including tips — moves through the app. Quotes may not be inflated, split or manipulated, and you may not charge for anything not shown in the app.

6. Fees, payouts and float

Jhatpat collects customer payments and pays you every Monday for the previous Monday-to-Sunday week, to your UPI ID or bank account, after deducting the platform fee shown in the commercial schedule, cash you collected, statutory deductions (including TDS under section 194-O of the Income-tax Act where applicable), customer refunds attributable to you, and penalties under section 9. Tips are paid in full. Your earnings statement in the app is the record of every job, fee and deduction; raise any dispute within 7 days from Earnings → Help. Scrap and buyback partners maintain a float with Jhatpat from which customers are paid at the door; the float is topped up through the app and is not a deposit that earns interest. You are responsible for your own GST registration, invoicing and income-tax obligations; where the law requires, Jhatpat issues invoices for its platform fee to you.

7. Customer data

Customer information (first name, address, masked number, booking details, photos) is provided only to perform the booking. You may not save, copy, share, sell or use it for any other purpose, contact a customer outside the app, send marketing, build a contact list, or move a customer off-platform. You keep it secure while the job is open and delete any local copy when it is done. Misuse of customer data ends your access immediately and may be reported to the authorities under the DPDP Act, 2023.

8. Conduct and safeguarding

You and your staff must not harass, discriminate against, threaten, sexually harass, exploit, steal from, stalk, photograph without consent or abuse any customer or member of their household, and must not work while intoxicated. For jobs involving children, elders or dependent adults you follow the guardian's instructions, never transport, medicate or photograph them, never take them outside the booked scope, and hand over only to the adult named in the booking. You respect a customer's dignity, privacy and belongings, and report any safety incident in the app the same day.

9. Reliability and penalties

Accept only jobs you can fulfil. Declining a request never affects your rating. The commercial schedule sets the penalties for a late cancellation (after acceptance), a no-show and a late arrival, which are deducted from the next payout; three late cancellations or two no-shows in a rolling 30 days pause instant requests for 7 days, and repeated occurrences, unsafe conduct, quote manipulation or a rating below the published threshold lead to retraining, suspension or termination after review. Penalties compensate the customer and the platform and are the customer refund plus the amount stated in the schedule.

10. Regulated services and licences

You may offer a regulated service only within the scope of a valid licence or registration that we have verified: security guards only through a PSARA-licensed agency; insurance help only as an IRDAI-registered professional; medicines only from a licensed pharmacy and only against a valid prescription; e-waste only as a CPCB / SPCB-authorised recycler; donations only as a registered NGO; rides, courier and moves only with the permits and insurance your vehicle and service require; locksmith work only after checking the customer's ID and proof of residence; buyback only after the IMEI or serial check passes. The licensed entity remains responsible for the regulated service, its outcome and its own regulatory obligations. A skill is suspended the moment its licence expires or cannot be verified.

11. Staff, vehicles and subcontracting

An agency, shop or operator may deploy only staff, drivers and vehicles that it lawfully engages and that Jhatpat has verified and listed under its profile, and remains fully responsible for their conduct and compliance. You may not send an unverified person in place of the assigned worker, share your login, or subcontract a job.

12. Safety and the right to refuse

Stop and escalate through the app if a job is unlawful, unsafe, materially different from the booking, involves an undisclosed hazard (gas leak, live wiring, structural risk), needs a licence you do not hold, or if a customer is abusive. You are never penalised for refusing unsafe or unlawful work. You follow the Safety, Trust & Regulated Services Policy and the training for your category.

13. Reviews and evidence

Jhatpat collects ratings, complaints, photos, timestamps and location records for every job. You may respond to a complaint through the app but may not manipulate ratings, create fake bookings, offer inducements for reviews or pressure a customer to change truthful feedback.

14. Platform use and intellectual property

Your access to the app is a limited, revocable licence to run your business on the Platform. You may not scrape, reverse-engineer, copy or interfere with the app, use the Jhatpat name or logo outside the app without written permission, or impersonate Jhatpat staff. Jhatpat may use your name, photo, rating and skills to present you to customers.

15. Records and audit

Keep reasonable records of completed jobs, invoices, licences, staff and vehicle documents for 3 years, and provide them within 7 days of a reasonable request for a customer dispute, safety review, fraud investigation or regulatory audit.

16. Suspension and termination

Either party may end this relationship at any time — you by deleting your partner profile, we by deactivating it — with earned payouts settled on the next cycle after open jobs and disputes close. We may suspend a skill or your account immediately for a lapsed document, a credible safety allegation, fraud, misuse of customer data, off-platform dealing, repeated policy breach, a legal order or material customer risk; where appropriate you may submit an explanation through the Grievance Officer within 7 days and we review it within 15 days. Sections 7, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19 and 21 survive termination.

17. Liability and indemnity

You are responsible for your own acts and omissions and those of your staff. You will indemnify Yurix Ventures Private Limited, its directors and employees against claims, losses, penalties and costs (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your negligence, unsafe or defective work, breach of law or licence conditions, misuse of customer data, infringement of third-party rights, fraud or wilful misconduct. Jhatpat's liability to you is limited to the payouts due for the jobs concerned and excludes indirect or consequential loss and loss of earnings. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

18. Confidentiality and non-circumvention

Customer, pricing, rate-card, operational, security and business information you receive through Jhatpat is confidential and may be used only to perform jobs. During the relationship and for 12 months after it ends you will not solicit or serve a customer first met through Jhatpat outside the Platform for a Jhatpat service.

19. Governing law and disputes

These Partner Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute that is not resolved through the Grievance Officer within 30 days is referred to arbitration by a sole arbitrator appointed by mutual agreement (failing which under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996), seated in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, conducted in English or Hindi, with the award final and binding; either party may seek urgent injunctive relief from the courts at Lucknow. Consumer disputes raised by a customer are handled under the Terms of Service.

20. Changes

We may update these Partner Terms and the commercial schedule for legal, safety or operational reasons. Changes to fees, the payout cycle or penalties are announced in partner mode at least 15 days before they take effect; other changes at least 7 days. Continuing to accept jobs after the effective date is acceptance.

21. Notices and contact

Notices to you are given in partner mode, by SMS, WhatsApp or email to your registered details. Partner support: partner mode → Account → Help, jhatpat@gmail.com, +91 87569 92565. Grievance Officer: Anmol Mishra, Yurix Ventures Private Limited, Plot No. 73, Vishnu Lok, Kanpur Road, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh 226023.
